Bluetooth Connectivity issues with EPOS
Sometimes, customers may experience issues with Bluetooth connectivity on their Husqvarna Automower, leading to a loss of control over settings and the inability to enter the PIN code. If you are facing this issue, follow the steps below to restore connectivity:
Initial Steps:
- Restart Bluetooth on Your Phone:
- Disable Bluetooth on your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Enable Bluetooth again.
- Log in to the Husqvarna Automower Connect app and check if the connectivity issue is resolved.
- Restart the Mower:
- Turn off the mower (it may start chirping).
- Turn the mower back on.
- Within 3 minutes of turning it back on, try connecting to it using the Automower Connect app.
If the Issue Persists:
Follow these detailed steps to restore connectivity:
- Disconnect Other Bluetooth Devices:
- In your phone's settings, disconnect any other Bluetooth devices (e.g., iPods, Apple Watch).
- Forget Existing Mower:
- On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- Tap on the mower device and select "Forget this Device" (if visible under paired devices).
- Open Automower Connect app and "Unpair" the mower from the Automower app
- Ensure Location Services are On:
- Confirm that location services are turned on for the Automower Connect app in your phone's settings.
- Close the Automower Connect App:
- Disable Bluetooth on Your Phone:
- Open the Automower Connect App:
- Enable Bluetooth on Your Phone:
- Prepare the Mower:
- Turn the mower off.
- Turn the mower back on.
- Press Start, then Stop to put the mower in Bluetooth pairing mode (if not already).
- The mower is in Bluetooth pairing mode if you see a blinking blue light
- Add the Mower in the App:
- Open the Automower Connect app.
- Tap on "More" and then "My Mowers."
- Tap the "+" button to add the mower.
- Choose the mower from the list.
- Follow the instructions to pair the mower.
