No Power on Charging Station

No Power on Charging Station

When you connect the charging station of the Automower to an outlet, using a power adapter that comes with the mower and the low voltage cable that runs to the charging base, then the default light on the charging base should be blinking blue. This indicates that there is power on the base and the boundary wires are not yet connected (or there is a break).

If you connect the charging station to power and you do not see any light coming on, then please follow the steps below to address the issue,

STEP 1: Ensure that the outlet has power - It is important that you check the outlet where the power adapted was connected for power and not just the other open port. Use a lamp, cell phone charger or any other electrical device to ensure that all ports of the outlet are functional.

STEP 2: If the outlet is confirmed to be OK, check that the connections are made properly on the power adapter and the charging base. A loose connection and cause loss of power.

STEP 3: If power is still not available, then visually inspect the low voltage cable that runs from the charging base to the power adapter and determine if there are any breaks in the wire. If a break is found, do not attempt to repair the wire - The wire needs to be replaced.

STEP 4: If the low voltage wire was found to be OK, then if possible with a voltmeter check the output voltage of the power adapter. If the voltmeter does not show any voltage , then the power adapter needs replacement.

STEP 5: If power adapter is confirmed to be OK, then as a last resort you may have to drop off your mower with SmartDots for evaluation . Ensure that you drop off the charging base, low voltage cable and power adapter in such a scenario, so that we can check everything out.
